Job Summary

To support research initiatives, the full-time remote Grant Administrator will manage grant submissions, perform budget forecasting, and serve as a liaison to grantor agencies while ensuring compliance with funding guidelines.

Key responsibilities
  • Processes and prepares research grant proposals and transactions, maintaining compliance with institutional and sponsor guidelines
  • Monitors expenditures and assures budgetary compliance while providing guidance on allowable costs
  • Acts as the primary Pre-Award/Post-Award resource for assigned research departments, assisting with budgets and financial reporting
Required qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Financial Management or a related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of research administration experience required
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting applications
  • Good working knowledge of research agency and sponsor funding guidelines
  • Ability to work independently and manage large financial data sets accurately
