Job Summary
Providing high-level financial support and analysis, the full-time remote Portfolio and Grant Analyst - Connecticut will manage grant portfolios, develop proposals, and ensure compliance with sponsor regulations while working closely with faculty and research teams.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to develop and maintain budgets, identifying funding issues and solutions
- Develop proposals and budgets for grant submissions, ensuring compliance with sponsor regulations and advising on funding opportunities
- Manage multiple awards and portfolios, advising principal investigators on financial issues and overseeing grant renewals and closeouts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Two years of related financial experience required
- Demonstrated application of financial, accounting, and economic concepts
- Experience with grants and contracts management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
