Grant MEL Specialist

Job Summary

Providing advanced technical leadership and oversight, the full-time remote Grant MEL Specialist III will manage monitoring, evaluation, learning, and performance management for a large institutional grant-funded program, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and organizational standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and strengthen MEL systems for complex donor-funded programs, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational requirements
• Oversee program performance monitoring and results measurement, ensuring timely collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of program data
• Facilitate organizational learning by capturing and sharing lessons learned, evaluation findings, and program evidence

Required qualifications

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning for institutional grants
• Proficiency in designing MEL systems and methodologies aligned with donor requirements
• Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess program effectiveness
• Experience leveraging digital tools and technology solutions for data management and reporting
• Commitment to child protection and understanding of related policies and practices
