Job Summary
Supporting the development and administration of research funding activities, the full-time Grant Program Coordinator will manage complex grant submissions, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with stakeholders in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pre-award administrative support for various grants and contracts, including proposal development and budget preparation
- Coordinate compliance with institutional policies and sponsor regulations for grant submissions and manage documentation for research contracts
- Serve as a primary point of contact for department leadership and faculty, advising on proposal requirements and managing fiscal components of grants
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Three years of extensive administrative experience; one year with a Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience
- Experience with pre-award grants, particularly NIH, DoD, and CPRIT funding mechanisms
- Strong background in proposal development, budget preparation, and compliance coordination
- Familiarity with sponsor submission portals and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
