Job Summary
To support faculty in the College of Agriculture with external funding proposals, the full-time Grant Specialist will manage proposal preparation, ensure compliance with guidelines, and assist with data and reporting needs in a hybrid or remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with faculty to prepare and submit accurate and complete grant proposals
- Assist in the interpretation and application of funding guidelines, policies, and regulations
- Support data management and reporting needs related to grant activities
Required qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of relevant experience
- Experience in grant and contract administration, particularly in budget and proposal development
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a professional manner
- Experience in a not-for-profit university environment is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
