Grant Writing Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Grant Writing Consultant for Law Enforcement on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the fulfillment of grant writing services contracts and provide consulting to law enforcement agencies
• Develop comprehensive narratives for grant applications and consult with agencies on project eligibility
• Research potential grant programs and advise agencies on grant opportunities through various communication methods

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional grant writing and consulting experience with local law enforcement agencies
• Knowledge of federal, state, foundation, and corporate grant processes relevant to law enforcement
• Experience writing grants for programs such as the Bureau of Justice Assistance and COPS Office
• Ability to manage multiple grant writing projects under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with grant administrative best practices and experience with CRM databases
