Job Summary
Providing professional support in grant administration, the full-time remote Grants Administrator will advise faculty on proposal preparation, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and improve grants management processes.
Key responsibilities
- Advise faculty and administrators on external funding processes, ensuring compliance with sponsor and university requirements
- Cultivate strong partnerships with faculty, Principal Investigators, and sponsors while guiding them through changes in requirements
- Review and prepare grant proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure accurate data entry into relevant systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and three years of related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant grant experience in higher education
- Knowledge of federal, state, and sponsor regulations related to grant administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database administration
- Familiarity with electronic proposal systems and grant development processes
