Job Summary
Supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Grants Office, the full-time Grants Analyst will manage grant award activities, ensure compliance with federal and DoD regulations, and facilitate communication among stakeholders while working onsite at Fort Detrick with a remote option available.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct support for the timely award of grants across the agency in alignment with DHA missions
- Deliver compliant pre- and post-award documentation in accordance with federal and DoD grants principles
- Assist in evaluating grant proposals and conducting grant award activities, including preparing and distributing award notices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in grants management or related federal government roles
- Extensive knowledge of federal and DoD grants principles, including 2 CFR 200 and DoDGARS
- Understanding of cost principles related to grants, including reasonableness and allowability
- Familiarity with federal grant/contract writing systems and budget principles
- Proficiency in SharePoint and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat)
