Job Summary
A company is looking for a Grants and Contracts Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage pre-award activities including the development, preparation, and submission of grant and contract proposals
- Oversee post-award activities including budget reconciliation, reporting, and compliance monitoring
- Advise faculty and principal investigators on administrative requirements and ensure adherence to agency and university guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master's degree is preferred
- Completion of specific financial and research administration training within the first six months of hire is required
- Experience managing large, complex government contracts is preferred
- Experience in an academic research setting is preferred
- Certification in research administration is preferred
