Job Summary
Managing a dynamic portfolio of complex grants and contracts, the full-time remote Grants and Contracts Administrator will support faculty through pre-award and post-award processes, ensuring compliance with agency and university guidelines while overseeing budget reconciliation and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist faculty in the development, preparation, and submission of grant and contract proposals, ensuring compliance with all guidelines
- Manage assigned projects and financial portfolios, monitoring fiscal performance and advising on necessary budget adjustments
- Prepare and submit required reports, maintaining financial records in accordance with institutional guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to grants and contracts management is required; Master's degree preferred
- Successful completion of specific training programs related to financial services and research administration within the first six months of hire
- No prior experience required for candidates with a relevant degree; experience in an academic institution is preferred
- Knowledge of federal rules and regulations related to research grant and contract activity
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with grants management systems
