Grants and Contracts Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Grants and Contracts Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pre-award activities including grant application procedures, budget reviews, and proposal submissions
- Manage post-award processes such as award setup, account reconciliation, and compliance with funding agency guidelines
- Serve as a liaison between research units, central offices, and funding agencies while providing administrative assistance for protocols
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Four years of related experience in sponsored research and/or financial positions, preferably in an academic or medical setting
- Successful completion of the Research Administration Training Program is equivalent to two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of accounting and budgeting theory and practices
- Thorough understanding of external Federal guidelines/procedures for grants and contracts
