Job Summary

A company is looking for a Grants and Contracts Officer to facilitate the grant process and provide administrative support for various Principal Investigators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate pre- and post-award grant processes, including research, preparation, submission, and follow-up on grants
  • Develop budgets, process grant reconciliations, maintain records, and communicate with funders
  • Establish relationships with foundations and coordinate cross-departmentally
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalency) with 4 years of related experience, or a master's degree (or equivalency) with 2 years of related experience
  • For higher levels, 6 to 8 years of related experience is required depending on the position
  • Experience with grant submission processes and related administrative tasks
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with university pre-award and post-award systems is preferred
