Grants Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting complex compliance activities for major grants, the full-time Grants Compliance Specialist will ensure adherence to grant agreements and legal standards while working remotely, collaborating with legal and operational teams, and coaching others as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate complex grant-related awards and contracts to ensure compliance with donor and legal requirements
• Act as a liaison during the proposal development process, addressing compliance-related operational risks associated with grant proposals
• Facilitate subrecipient and vendor vetting, coordinating due diligence and ensuring compliance with donor regulations

Required qualifications

• Experience in managing compliance for grants from U.S. Government and multilateral funders
• Knowledge of federal, state, and international legal frameworks related to grant agreements
• Ability to provide training on compliance rules and policies, including 2 CFR 200 regulations
• Experience in procurement processes and ensuring compliance with internal and donor policies
• Strong understanding of child protection considerations in grant management
