Job Summary
Managing day-to-day reporting tasks for sponsored projects, the full-time Grants & Contracts Manager will oversee a team of 10-12 employees, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing guidance and training to enhance staff performance, while working remotely with quarterly onsite meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Perform management and oversight activities to ensure productivity and achievement of service levels
- Oversee monitoring of sponsored award spending for allowability and compliance, and manage payroll processes
- Collaborate with G&C Managers to coordinate cross-functional processes and maintain a cohesive approach to customer service
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Five years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, including three years of supervisory or project management experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles in federal and state guidelines and research administration post-award experience
- Successful completion of LEADing Self programs may substitute for supervisory experience
- Preferred: CRA certification
