Job Summary
A company is looking for a Grants Finance Manager responsible for strategic financial management across its portfolio of grants.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor grant award budgets and maintain financial projections, pipelines, and cost allocations
- Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports and invoices in accordance with grant agreements
- Manage the grants accounting staff, providing training and mentorship to ensure compliance and build capacity
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in financial management, particularly with federal grants or nonprofit budgets
- Knowledge of GAAP and federal cost principles under 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial management
