Job Summary
Supporting the National Institute of Aging's Grants Management program, the full-time remote Grants Management Specialist will provide technical assistance in grant development, review applications, and analyze funding reports.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assess grant applications for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Draft and manage correspondence with applicants and grantees regarding administrative and financial inquiries
- Support pre- and post-award activities, including budget preparation and maintaining grant records
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with four years of relevant experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in grants administration or related support roles
- Knowledge of NIH/HHS grants policies and processes
- Experience with budget analysis and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
