Job Summary
To ensure financial sustainability, the part-time Grants Manager will manage the full lifecycle of grant writing and development, including proposal submission and award activation, while working remotely within a complex university environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assess funding opportunities and write clear grant proposals and letters of inquiry, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Facilitate grant and gift agreements, ensuring compliance and proper processing of awarded funds
- Maintain documentation and monitor proposal progress, ensuring all deadlines are met
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in research administration or grant management, preferably in higher education or nonprofit settings
- Demonstrated ability to draft comprehensive grant proposals with a successful funding track record
- Experience managing technical compliance for grant submissions, including familiarity with IDC rates
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience in grant management
