Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Graphic Artist / Visual Communications Specialist to develop high-quality visual and digital communication products for a federal public health client, collaborating with various stakeholders to create materials for presentations, web, social media, and print in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and produce presentations, infographics, one-pagers, reports, and social media graphics
- Translate complex scientific and public health information into clear visual products
- Ensure all products meet agency branding and Section 508 accessibility requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Science, or a related field
- Professional experience in graphic design or visual communications
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Experience creating content for print, web, presentations, and social media
