Job Summary

To design and implement accessible, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for VA OAA Data Management Center applications, the part-time Graphic Designer will create user-centered designs using Bootstrap and jQuery, collaborate with developers, and ensure compliance with Section 508 standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement accessible and visually appealing interfaces for applications and platforms
• Create user-centered designs using Bootstrap, jQuery, and centralized CSS files
• Collaborate with developers to integrate designs into the .NET Core, C#, and Power Platform environment

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; no equivalencies accepted
• 4+ years of graphic design experience focused on user-centered design and accessibility
• Proficiency in Bootstrap, jQuery, centralized CSS files, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience collaborating with development teams to integrate designs into technical environments
