Graphic Designer
Job Summary
To design and implement accessible, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for VA OAA Data Management Center applications, the part-time Graphic Designer will create user-centered designs using Bootstrap and jQuery, collaborate with developers, and ensure compliance with Section 508 standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement accessible and user-friendly interfaces for applications and platforms
- Create visually compelling designs using Bootstrap, jQuery, and centralized CSS files
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate designs within the .NET Core, C#, and Power Platform environment
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; no equivalencies accepted
- 4+ years of graphic design experience focused on user-centered design and accessibility
- Proficiency in Bootstrap, jQuery, centralized CSS files, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience collaborating with development teams to integrate designs into technical environments
