Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote GRC Automation Engineer, this position focuses on modernizing and automating cybersecurity governance processes to enhance operational efficiency and data quality while supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows for RMF, A&A, and cybersecurity governance activities
- Integrate GRC platforms with security tools and reporting solutions to streamline compliance activities
- Automate evidence collection and reporting to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
- Three or more years of experience in developing automation solutions for cybersecurity or IT operations
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with REST APIs and workflow orchestration tools for enterprise platform integration
- Working knowledge of NIST RMF, FISMA, and cybersecurity governance processes
