GRC Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of GRC Subject Matter Experts, the full-time Manager will oversee the lifecycle, quality, and product integration of compliance frameworks and content in a remote capacity, ensuring alignment with Vanta's product strategy and regulatory needs.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and develop a team of SMEs for commercial and government frameworks, ensuring high standards of technical depth and content quality
• Own and govern the end-to-end framework release process in collaboration with Product and Engineering, driving program management for GRC content
• Connect the team's roadmap to Vanta's broader strategy, anticipating shifts in customer needs and regulatory landscapes to maintain alignment

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of GRC and/or Information Security experience, with hands-on implementation across multiple frameworks
• 2+ years of experience managing technical or subject matter expert teams
• Strong program management skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Deep understanding of GRC controls, risks, and testing approaches
• Technical fluency, including comfort with AI tools for enhancing compliance processes
