Greenhouse Gas GHG Accounting Principal Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Consultant - Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision, guidance, and technical leadership to clients and colleagues on GHG accounting practices, standards, and trends
• Develop and deliver proposals, generate leads, and build client relationships
• Manage multiple projects, provide high value to clients, and mentor direct reports

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in corporate GHG emissions accounting
• Proficiency in calculating and reporting scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions
• Experience conducting GHG inventories across multiple sectors
• Familiarity with carbon accounting and reporting standards and programs
• Knowledge of current and emerging policy and regulatory drivers of GHG emissions disclosure and management
