Grid Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the integration of large electrical loads, the full-time Grid Integration Engineer will conduct transmission system analysis, evaluate interconnection opportunities, and develop data-driven tools while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct steady-state transmission system analysis to evaluate large load and data center interconnection opportunities
• Support technical analysis for large load interconnection and transmission service requests across U.S. markets
• Develop data-driven tools and automate workflows using Python to improve interconnection evaluation and decision-making

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; M.S. preferred with a focus in Power Systems or Energy Systems
• 3+ years of professional experience in the power and energy industry with a focus on transmission or power systems analysis
• Strong background in power systems analysis and demonstrated proficiency with TARA for transmission system analysis
• Strong Python skills for automation and data analysis
• Working knowledge of stakeholder processes and market rules in ERCOT, MISO, SPP, and PJM
