Grid Integration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Grid Integration & Studies Engineer to support renewable energy projects through the interconnection process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor ISO grid codes and reliability standards for project interconnection and dynamic modeling
• Evaluate grid code compliance and provide technical guidance for interconnection requirements
• Lead communication with stakeholders regarding application data, interconnection processes, and commissioning activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy or transmission planning
• Experience with high-voltage systems and project interconnection processes
• Proficiency in dynamic modeling tools such as PSCAD, PSS E, and TSAT
• Strong understanding of power systems integration, especially in onshore wind projects
