Group Benefits Calculation Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring the accuracy of disability benefit claim calculations, the full-time remote Group Benefits Calculation Specialist will complete complex calculations for Short Term and Long Term claims while managing financial accuracy checks and fostering effective relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Completing complex calculations for Short Term and Long Term disability claims
• Resolving outstanding overpayments for STD/LTD claims and ensuring timely processing of disability income
• Managing daily and monthly financial accuracy checks to maintain error-free processes

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of financial group disability experience, including BWE/BME Calculations and Partial Calculations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with the ability to navigate multiple systems
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-output production environment
• Must have access to high-speed internet and be located in the United States or Puerto Rico
