Job Summary
A company is looking for a Group Financial Underwriter specializing in Life & Disability or Dental & Vision benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial group underwriting for employer groups with 100+ eligible lives
- Analyze historical claims, premium performance, and utilization trends
- Prepare and deliver group benefit quotes to internal sales teams
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Group Underwriting experience within a Health Insurance carrier
- Direct underwriting experience with Group Life & Disability and/or Group Dental & Vision products
- Experience underwriting employer-sponsored group benefits (100+ lives)
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including premium development and claim projection
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
