Job Summary

Leading a team in a virtual environment, the full-time Group Insurance Team Lead will manage Short-Term Disability and Absence Claims, ensuring accurate benefits administration, fostering customer relationships, and driving team performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to achieve excellence in customer service and claims management
• Monitor and analyze claims reporting to ensure accurate offset management
• Provide ongoing support and training to direct reports while promoting employee engagement and process improvements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in Group Insurance Operations or claims management
• Proven understanding of STD/Absence/Paid Leave claim management processes
• Prior coaching, mentorship, or leadership experience is essential
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Teams, MS Word, and Excel
