Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Group Leader - NH Licensed for the Choose Your Own Pace: Appalachian Mountain Club program in Bretton Woods, NH, who will manage logistics, deliver educational content, and ensure a quality experience for participants on active outdoor adventures involving daily hikes of up to 10 miles and significant elevation changes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all logistics for the program, including participant orientation and daily briefings
• Facilitate communication with local guides and vendors to enhance educational delivery and resolve issues on-site
• Accompany participants on scheduled activities, providing support and enhancing their experience throughout the program

Required qualifications

• Ability to hike at least 10 miles on varied terrain with significant elevation changes
• Group leadership experience in educational or travel programs, preferably with individuals aged 55 and older
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• Local knowledge of the program destination or residency in the area is preferred
