Group Leader, Quantitative Pharmacology

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Group Leader, Principal Scientist in Quantitative System Pharmacology (QSP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide scientific and professional development guidance to PhD-level scientists
• Oversee scientific execution of projects, including data analyses, modeling workflows, and client interactions
• Define the strategic direction of the group, including methodology development and publication plans

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Systems Biology, or a related quantitative discipline
• 10+ years of post-graduate experience in biotech, pharma, or biopharma consulting
• Experience developing mathematical models of biological systems and leading multi-functional teams
• Expertise in dynamical systems modeling and QSP methodologies
• Proficiency in at least one domain-specific modeling language (Julia, R, Matlab, or Python)
