Group Product Manager, Infrastructure

Job Summary

Owning the product vision and multi-year strategy for Coinbase's cloud infrastructure, the full-time Group Product Manager, Infrastructure will drive initiatives for reliability, cost-efficiency, and scalability while partnering with Engineering, SRE, Security, and Finance in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Core Infrastructure, focusing on compute, networking, and platform reliability
• Drive infrastructure reliability programs, defining platform-level SLOs and incident reduction targets to meet uptime demands
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of cloud infrastructure technologies, making informed build-vs.-buy decisions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, particularly in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
• Proven track record of executing multi-year infrastructure platform strategies that enhance reliability and cost efficiency
• Technical expertise in compute, networking, storage, and distributed systems design
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in regulated environments
• Strong communication skills to articulate infrastructure strategy and cost tradeoffs to senior leadership
