Group Rating Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing a team of Group Rating Analysts, the full-time Supervisor Group Rating will ensure quality control and workflow management while supporting training and communication with internal stakeholders, with the option to work remotely, hybrid, or onsite in Kansas or Missouri.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily group rating activities, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness through the review and approval of special rating situations
• Facilitate effective communication between the Group Rating team and internal departments such as Sales and Underwriting
• Support the automation of rating processes and assist in developing training materials related to rating methodologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of four years of experience in group rating, underwriting, or actuarial work in the health insurance industry
• Experience with health insurance contracts, rating systems, and alternative funding arrangements
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, including ERISA and ACA
