Group Senior Accountant - Germany

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Group Senior Accountant, Munich / Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare standalone and group financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS monthly
• Review intercompany transactions and resolve any out-of-balance issues
• Lead compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and liaise with auditors for annual financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a foreign degree equivalent
• CPA or equivalent, Bilanzbuchhalter or Internationaler Bilanzbuchhalter
• At least 5 years' experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS required
• Business fluency in German and English
