Job Summary
Seeking a remote, full-time Guidance and Control Engineer, the successful candidate will design and implement advanced tracking and navigation solutions for aerospace systems, focusing on target tracking, terminal guidance algorithms, and GPS-denied navigation.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-target tracking pipelines and nonlinear estimators for target state and relative geometry
- Develop terminal guidance laws and image-based detection systems to enhance endgame performance under real-world conditions
- Create visual-inertial navigation solutions and write real-time C++ code for embedded systems while conducting simulations and performance validation
Required qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in developing estimation, tracking, GNC, or seeker algorithms for aerospace or defense systems
- Proficiency in nonlinear estimation techniques (EKF, UKF, IMM) and multi-target tracking algorithms
- Experience with real-time C++ programming for embedded systems and sensor fusion across multiple modalities
- Demonstrated capability in shipping algorithm code to hardware under SWaP-C constraints
