Guidewire Developer

Job Summary

Working full-time in a remote capacity, the Guidewire Developer will enhance functionality and troubleshoot issues in Guidewire software, particularly within PolicyCenter, while engaging in Agile sprints and collaborating with a team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement code in Gosu, focusing on user interface changes, integrations, and unit testing
• Participate in Agile sprints, daily standups, and code reviews, presenting work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Triage and resolve production issues, including bug fixes and log analysis, while supporting testing efforts

Required qualifications

• Experience with Guidewire, particularly PolicyCenter, including integration and configuration tasks
• Proficiency in Java, Javascript, SQL, Gosu, and familiarity with Mulesoft, React, or Node.js
• Understanding of web services integration, including SOAP and REST, and experience with Postman
• Prior experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Comfortable presenting technical concepts to large groups, with excellent communication skills
