Job Summary

Offering a flexible work schedule, the remote Gujarati Interpreter will provide professional interpreting services primarily in healthcare settings through phone or Zoom, ensuring accurate communication between Gujarati and English speakers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate and clear interpretation in medical, legal, and community settings
• Interpret orally between Gujarati and English in both directions
• Meet the communication needs of medical professionals, patients, and community organizations

Required qualifications

• Fluency in both Gujarati and English
• Demonstrated experience in interpretation with a focus on fidelity to original communication
• Combination of formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
• Willingness to obtain required medical clearances and background checks
• Access to a reliable phone, computer, and stable high-speed internet connection
