Job Summary
Working remotely as a full-time hourly Gujarati Language Specialist, the candidate will review AI-generated Gujarati content, create high-quality reference materials, and provide detailed feedback on language quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
Key responsibilities
- Review and quality-check translations of English science benchmark questions, ensuring accuracy and faithfulness to the original meaning
- Evaluate AI-generated corrections and provide brief review comments on the appropriateness of translations
- Assess language outputs for grammar, fluency, tone, and cultural relevance while adhering to specific guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Linguistics, Gujarati/English Literature, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Native or near-native proficiency in Gujarati, with strong professional proficiency in English (minimum C1)
- 3+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, or related language-focused work
- Deep understanding of Gujarati grammar, spelling conventions, and style
- Prior experience with AI data training/annotation or translation QA is strongly preferred
