GWTG-HF Abstractor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced GWTG-HF Abstractors, the full-time or part-time remote position will manage the accurate and timely abstraction of heart failure registry data from patient medical records while ensuring compliance with registry specifications and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews patient medical records and abstracts data for the GWTG-HF Registry
• Applies registry specifications and guidelines accurately while maintaining high levels of abstraction accuracy
• Enters data into registry platforms and participates in quality assurance activities, including validation and feedback processes

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent GWTG-HF abstraction experience
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and clinical documentation review
• Ability to work independently while meeting productivity expectations and deadlines
• Experience with multiple EHRs and data collection systems
• High-speed secure internet and appropriate computer setup for remote work
