GWTG-Stroke Abstractor Remote PRN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GWTG-Stroke Abstractor (Fully Remote PRN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Remote into hospital systems to search for specific patients and enter collected data into the preferred system for reporting to Medicare
• Work a minimum of 10 hours per week or more
• Abstract crucial medical data for reporting key quality measures

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved accredited nursing program, BSN and RN
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
• Broad clinical training and work experience in clinical management, continuing care, and transitions of care
• Familiarity with health care insurances and regulations
• Educational requirements include a college degree from an accredited nursing program, CAHIIM accredited program, or other accredited healthcare program
