Job Summary

Working remotely as an Independent Contractor, the International Audio/Video Remote Haitian Creole Interpreter will handle audio and video calls on demand, facilitating communication for the Limited English Proficient community while adhering to professional standards and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and industry best practices

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Haitian Creole
• Proficiency with technology, including web-based platforms and Microsoft Word
• A quiet and secure interpreting space free from outside noises
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or trainings preferred (e.g., CMI, CCHI)
