Hands-on Engineering Lead
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Engineering Lead, the full-time remote position will manage day-to-day delivery while actively participating in coding, prioritization, and team development to ensure high-quality shipping of features.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee sprint planning, prioritization, and daily team unblocking to align with business goals
- Foster a culture of code review, test discipline, and production reliability across ingestion pipelines
- Conduct 1:1s, onboarding, and growth conversations while participating in first-round hiring as the team expands
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role while actively coding
- Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, with the ability to provide substantive code reviews
- Experience with data-heavy systems, including high-volume ingestion and analytics pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery processes, including planning and scoping
- Comfortable collaborating closely with the CTO and providing technical insights
