Hard Money Underwriter

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Hard Money Underwriter, the full-time position will underwrite Hard Money loans, review borrower documentation, and analyze property details while ensuring efficient loan processing in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite Hard Money / Private Money loans and review loan files and borrower documentation
• Analyze property details, deal structure, and overall risk while calculating LTV, ARV, and rehab budgets
• Issue approvals and conditions, maintaining clear communication with the team and ensuring adherence to internal guidelines

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of underwriting experience in Hard Money / Private Lending
• Strong understanding of Fix & Flip and Bridge loan underwriting
• Ability to evaluate ARV-based deals and rehab scopes
• Knowledge of appraisals, title reports, and insurance
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
