Hardware Configuration Manager

Job Summary

To support hardware management initiatives, the full-time Hardware Configuration Manager will execute Configuration Management tasks, including change management and status accounting, while working both remotely and onsite as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Hardware Configuration Management activities per the Configuration Data Management Plan and company policies
• Document configuration status accounting data using software applications and maintain it in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
• Facilitate the establishment of a Configuration Control Board and maintain a Configuration Item Verification Record (CIVR) reflecting current hardware status

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• U.S. citizenship eligible for a DoD security clearance
• Two or more years of related experience preferred
• Familiarity with SAE ANSI/EIA-649B Configuration Management Standards is a plus
