Job Summary

To support the Silicon One optics development organization, the full-time Hardware Design Engineer will implement and develop Hardware Design-for-Test (DFT) features, collaborate with multi-functional teams, and lead debugging efforts, with the option to work remotely while adhering to California hours.

Key responsibilities
  • Implement and develop DFT features such as scan, mbist, BISR, and boundary scan
  • Support the setup, debugging, and validation of DFT simulations and post-silicon testing processes
  • Collaborate with teams to create hardware DFT strategies for new silicon devices and lead debugging efforts for silicon failures
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with JTAG protocols, Scan, BIST architectures, and integration of third-party IPs
  • Proficiency with ATPG and EDA tools such as Tessent, Xcelium, Genus, and Tempus/Primetime
  • Hands-on experience with post-silicon debug of DFT patterns and release to production
  • Ability to work independently and debug with minimal mentorship
