Hardware Engineer
Job Summary
To support a large engineering project in electrification and automation, a full-time Hardware Engineer on a rolling 4-month contract will create electronic schematics, design multi-layer PCB layouts, and ensure compliance with various technical requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain electronic schematics using Altium Designer
- Design multi-layer PCB layouts for various circuit types
- Generate and manage manufacturing outputs including assembly drawings and BOMs
Required qualifications
- Strong PCB design and layout experience, ideally with multi-layer boards
- Hands-on experience with Altium Designer
- Experience with mixed-signal, analogue, digital, power, and communication designs
- Solid understanding of EMC, signal integrity, and manufacturability
- Ability to review designs and implement corrective actions
