Job Summary
To support the Hardware Reliability Engineering team, the full-time Hardware Reliability Engineer will execute reliability tests on Main Logic Boards, perform failure analysis, and provide design recommendations to enhance product reliability while working remotely during PT or CT hours.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans while compiling test and failure data
- Conduct statistical data analysis to assess risks associated with product design
- Research failure modes and perform extensive FMEA for new technologies
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in reliability testing, including Mechanical Stress Tests and Environmental Tests
- In-depth understanding of failure analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy and X-Ray
- Experience with scripting or data analysis tools, preferably Python
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; Master's or PhD preferred
- Knowledge of JEDEC/IPC standards for semiconductor package qualifications
