Hardware Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Hardware Reliability Engineering team, the full-time Hardware Reliability Engineer will execute reliability tests on Main Logic Boards, conduct failure analysis, and provide design recommendations while working remotely during PT or CT hours.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans while compiling test and failure data
• Perform statistical data analysis to assess risks associated with product design
• Research failure modes and conduct extensive FMEA for new technologies

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in reliability testing, including Mechanical Stress Tests and Environmental Tests
• In-depth understanding of failure analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy and X-Ray
• Proficiency in scripting or data analysis tools, preferably Python
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
• Experience with semiconductor packages or consumer electronics is a plus
