Hardware Safety Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hardware Safety Engineer to develop autonomous systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of safety-critical hardware standards throughout the development lifecycle
• Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions and customer requirements related to hardware safety
• Conduct safety analyses and collaborate with teams to develop verification and validation plans for hardware components

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a FuSa engineer or in a related role focused on safety-critical hardware
• Experience with ISO 26262-5 or similar functional safety standards
• Knowledge of safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA
• Experience with robotics or related electro-mechanical systems
