Hardware Validation Engineer

Job Summary

To support critical networking initiatives, the contract Hardware Validation Engineer will validate FPGA and silicon-based networking solutions, ensuring platform quality through comprehensive validation, testing, and debugging activities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze information to determine plan layout and modifications for computer and peripheral equipment
• Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or computer simulations
• Perform debug, triage, and root cause analysis on FPGA and networking technologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required
• 10+ years of validation experience with a focus on test development and debugging
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog and pre-silicon/post-silicon validation experience
• Understanding of circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware
