Job Summary
To provide high-quality, direct clinical care in a remote setting, the part-time Hawaii Licensed Addiction Medicine Physician will conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) via telehealth, working on call Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) via telehealth for patients with substance use disorders
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to underserved populations in Hawaii
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Hawaii
- DEA registration and Hawaii NED license
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or a related field, with telehealth experience preferred
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Addiction Medicine is preferred
